SLO County Drug and Alcohol Services 
variety of services and programs to help people with drug and alcohol problems, including public walk-in clinics, prevention programs, youth and adult programs, and court-mandated programs.

Department of Rehabilitation  The California Department of Rehabilitation works in partnership with consumers and other stakeholders to provide services and advocacy resulting in employment, independent living and equality for individuals with disabilities.

Community Action Partnership (CAP SLO) committed to eliminating poverty by empowering individuals and families to achieve economic self-sufficiency and self-determination through a comprehensive array of community-based programs.

Community Counseling Center  offers low-cost individual, family and couples therapy in San Luis Obispo.

Veterans Services (VA Clinic)
provides assistance to the men and women who serve in the Armed Forces of America, their dependents, survivors, and the general public, in obtaining benefits from the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and other programs for veterans and their families.  

San Luis Obispo Vet Center  offers a wide range of services to help veterans who have served in any combat zone make a successful transition from military to civilian life.  These services are called “readjustment counseling” and they include:  individual and group counseling for Veterans and their families, family counseling for military related issues, bereavement counseling for families, military sexual trauma counseling, VBA benefits explanation, employment assessment, and substance abuse assessment.

Hospice of SLO  provides grief and loss counseling for the SLO County community.  Individual, group and family counseling is available.

Gay and Lesbian Alliance (GALA)  provides education, support, recreation, advocacy and partnerships for the well-being of SLO County’s GLBT (gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender) community.
