The California Central Coast Chapter (C4) of the U.S. Green Building Council is bringing their mobile resource center to Cuesta College on April 12.

The mobile resource center, open to students and community members, demonstrates sustainable living and working environments utilizing green building methods. The resource center is equipped with material displays, installations and energy efficient systems to demonstrate to the public, including sustainable flooring, recycled countertops, non-toxic insulation, anti-microbial wallboards and tankless water heating options.

The purpose of the C4 Build SMART Mobile Resource Center is to demonstrate green building techniques as well as to illustrate the benefits of conservation, efficiency and new technologies in the field of sustainable building science.

The Cuesta College stop is one of five the C4 Resource Center will be making across the Central Coast during Earth month. The display will be at Cuesta College on Tuesday, April 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. near the library and High Tech Center.
