Cuesta College students will celebrate Constitution Day at events on the San Luis Obispo and North County campuses next week.

Cuesta Superintendent/President Gil Stork, San Luis Obispo Mayor Jan Howell Marx, and other local officials will speak at a program beginning at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18 in front of the library on the San Luis Obispo campus.

Music and Constitution Jeopardy are part of the festivities scheduled at noon Thursday, Sept. 20 in front of the Dale and Mary Schwartz Learning Resource Center at the Paso Robles campus.

Both events include food and voter registration.

The U.S. Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787. Constitution and Citizenship Day is federally recognized.
