Associated Students of Cuesta College is presenting two Election Forums featuring local, state and national candidates and discussions about ballot initiatives.

The forum at the San Luis Obispo Campus is set for 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 in the Associated Students Auditorium, Room 5401. The Paso Robles campus event is 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18 in Dallon’s Hall in the Learning Resource Center.

Members of the Lois Capps and Abel Maldonado campaign will attend the San Luis Obispo campus event.

State Assembly 35th District candidate Gerald Manata and a member of K.H. Achadjian’s campaign will attend the San Luis Obispo event along with a representative for Bill Monning, who is running for the State Senate’s 17th District. San Luis Obispo County Community College District board of trustees candidates Barbara George and David Baldwin will attend both forums.

San Luis Obispo mayoral candidates Steve Barasch, Donald E. Hedrick and Jan Marx are scheduled to speak at the San Luis Obispo forum along with San Luis Obispo City Council candidates Dan Carpenter and Kevin Rice and members of the Jeff Aranguena and John B. Ashbaugh campaigns.

Paso Robles City Council candidates Nick Gilman, Steve Martin and Fred Strong will attend the forum on the Paso Robles campus. Atascadero City Council candidates Roberta Fonzi, Ann Ketcherside and Tom O’Malley are also scheduled.

Parking will be free in Lot 2 for the event on the San Luis Obispo Campus.
