The Business & Entrepreneurship Center at Cuesta College will present a “Musicians as Entrepreneurs” seminar from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct.10 at Cuesta’s North County campus, 2800 Buena Vista Drive, Paso Robles. It will be in Dallons Hall, Building N3100, Room N3102.

The second-annual seminar will present the business side of music and provide the skills and knowledge to move music careers forward. It will cover the legal and financial issues affecting songwriting, recording, touring, how to market performers and music and the range of do-it-yourself tools available. Attendees will also learn about the players who influence success and how to interact with them.

Presenters will be Don Gorder, chair of the music business/management department at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and Drew Chandler, recent Berklee College of Music graduate.
