Cuesta College will host a free, day-of-welcome orientation for first-time students at the college’s San Luis Obispo campus on Thursday, Aug. 16.

The second annual Connect@Cuesta will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Space is limited; students must reserve a space online prior to the event.

“Meet other new students, interact with faculty and staff, and learn about college resources while having fun and interacting with your peers,” said event organizer Sabrina Robertson. “You’ll gain the tools you need to succeed in college. Don’t miss out.”

There will be door prizes, a barbecue with faculty, and each student will receive a kit for success. Transportation from Cuesta’s North County campus in Paso Robles will be provided.
