With the needs of employers and young job seekers at a record high, Cuesta College and the Workforce Investment Board are happy to announce the grand opening of a Youth One Stop Center in Grover Beach on March 28.

The center is specifically designed to assist teens with job searches, career counseling, workshops, training and referrals to employment-related programs.

This satellite center is operated by Cuesta College as the provider of youth services for the One Stop System funded through the SLO County Workforce Investment Board (WIB). Cuesta College participates in the One Stop System in conjunction with Shoreline Workforce Development Services, the Economic Development Department, Path Point and the Department of Social Services.

The Youth Once Stop Center grand opening will commence at the Youth One Stop at 191 S. Oak Park Unit #9 in Grover Beach at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28. The public is invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Grover Beach Chamber of Commerce.
