The Cuesta College Jazz Orchestra, with special guests Tom Kubis and The Swing Kittens, is set to perform at the college’s Cultural and Performing Arts Center (CPAC) on Friday, November 22, at 7:30 p.m. on the main stage.

Cuesta’s Jazz Orchestra, formerly the Monday Night Band, will be directed by Warren Balfour. Tom Kubis is a well-known jazz composer/arranger, woodwind player, recording artist and band leader. His musical arrangements have been featured at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and he has conducted at Carnegie Hall in New York. The Swing Kittens are an upbeat swing vocal trio specializing in giving a youthful spin on classics from the ‘40s and ‘50s.

The CPAC is located on the San Luis Obispo Campus. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors and $10 for students and can be purchased online at www.cpactickets.cuesta.edu or by calling (805) 546-3198. Parking will be free in lot 2.
