The Cuestonian, Cuesta College’s student-run, student-designed monthly newspaper, won top honors at a college journalism conference in San Francisco recently.  The Cuestonian was one of 10, two-year colleges from around the country to receive a Best of Show Award at the National College Journalism Convention sponsored by the Associated Collegiate Press. Only one other two-year college in California took the honor.

"It's nice to get recognized for all the hours you put into something," Cuestonian Editor-in-Chief Giselle Griffin said. "I am really proud of our staff."

Student newspaper editors, staff and advisers from all over the United States attended the conference.  Awards were also given to four-year colleges. Complete results are posted here:  http://studentpress.org/acp/winners/m13bs.html
