Priority registration for Cuesta College’s summer 2014 semester opens on Monday, April 14. Students can go online to register at http://www.cuesta.edu/student/getstarted/register/.

For the first time ever, Cuesta College will be offering three separate summer school sessions in order to better serve the needs of students and the community. Students can choose from approximately 315 courses being offered in four, six and eight week increments. The summer schedule is available online at Cuesta’s Class Finder site (https://ssb.cuesta.edu:9040/prod/syk_class_finder.p_basic_search).  Students can also still apply online for the summer semester.

Students will be able to choose from the following options:

-          Session 1: June 2-June 26       (4 weeks, Monday-Friday)

-          Session 2: June 16-July 24      (6 weeks: Monday-Thursday)

-          Session 3: June 16-August 7   (8 weeks: Monday-Thursday)

“The increase in summer school offerings will benefit students by providing them with a wide range of courses, both general education and career technical education,” said Deb Wulff, Cuesta College vice president of academic affairs. “Another advantage of offering three summer sessions is that students will have the opportunity to enroll in more than one summer session with the potential to complete several courses over the summer, which could lead to a degree, certificate or transfer opportunity.”

Courses are $46 per unit. Courses will be offered on-site at the San Luis Obispo Campus and Paso Robles Campus, and online. For more information on summer school, please visit http://cuesta.edu/summerstarts/ or call (805) 546-3100.
