In an effort to help students get through college smoothly and successfully, Cuesta College is hosting its first-ever Student Success Fair on Wednesday, March 5, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on the San Luis Obispo Campus in front of the 5400 building. The intent is to provide a multitude of college services, in one place at one time, in order to empower students with the knowledge of resources available.

“Cuesta College’s mission is for students to succeed and this is a new way for our students to do just that,” said Vice President of Student Services Sandee McLaughlin. “We encourage students to come and use all the tools that Cuesta has to offer to help them with questions about everything from financial aid to tutoring to veteran support services.”

The college expects about 250 students will attend. On-hand will be faculty and staff who will answer questions about counseling, tutoring, financial aid, Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS), campus clubs, Career Connections and services that support veterans, mental health, re-entry students and more. Free food, music, games and prizes will also be available.
