What is CalStateTEACH? CalStateTEACH is a California State University teacher education program for prospective teachers needing to complete a multiple subject credential. Using the latest technology including the Internet, CD-ROM, video, and print materials, CalStateTeach delivers high quality education to individuals across California.

How Does It Work? Prospective teachers work in small groups guided by CSU faculty. Faculty visit the classroom to observe teaching and offer feedback and support. Students and faculty communicate through the program's website and e-mail. A study guide presents activities that integrate course assignments with hands-on teaching. The program is integrated and completely school-based, with no separate courses taken on campus. Access to a computer with an Internet connection is required.
