4th Grade Camp

 

Half Day

An exciting 4-day camp at the San Luis Obispo Campus designed for students entering the 4th grade in Fall of 2016. Campers are supervised as they rotate through 4 subjects each day. Students need to be checked out each day and will be supervised at all times.

Good Morning Group Gathering

All students and instructors gather each morning for ice breakers and team building activities. Rise and shine, wake up your mind, and get to know your fellow students.

Awesome and Amazing Art Work

Students will learn to enjoy art. This class offers creative expression and the projects will help develop hand-to-eye coordination. Please dress appropriately, as this class is "hands-on.”

Phun with Photoshop

Get ready to unleash your creative brilliance using the most influential digital imaging program on Earth! Learn the basics in Adobe Photoshop to alter pictures and create a portfolio of original digital art. On the last day, we will import these fun pictures as a class to a PowerPoint Presentation and produce a slideshow for everyone to watch and enjoy!

Life Science Sleuths

Students will be prepared for all that 4th grade life science curriculum brings. Learn through hands-on activities about energy, environments, and ecosystems, and how they’re all connected!

TIME: 55 minutes - 8:30; 9:30; 10:30; or 11:30am

Fun, Food, and Fitness

Hands–on activities, experiments and discussion are used to educate students about healthy food choices, cultural lifestyles, and fitness. Please dress appropriately, as this class is “hands-on.”
