Chinese Brush Painting: Morning Glories

Enjoying learning this beautiful art form. Beginning, as well as advanced students learn and practice the skills, techniques, and philosophy of traditional Xieyi style (free style). Learn about the traditions, symbolism, and culture in Chinese art. Subjects include birds, animals, flowers, plants, and more. Supplies will be discussed at the first meeting. 

Bring a sack lunch. Supply list: orchid/bamboo brush, size medium or large; felt 24x24 minimum, but 24x36 recommended; bottle Chinese ink; roll of practice paper; wide mouth water container to wash brushes and a watercolor palette for ink.
