The Cuesta College Campus Police Department provides services to the San Luis Obispo Campus and North County Campus. The department adheres to the standards for the selection and training of Peace Officers as established by the laws of the State of California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training. 

Campus Police Officers are vested with full law enforcement powers and responsibilities throughout the State of California, identical to municipal police and sheriff departments.  Some Public Safety Officers are certified as Emergency Medical Technicians and provide additional medical assistance to the injured or sick students and staff.

The campus is patrolled 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To contact an on-duty Police Officer during non-office hours, you may call the cell phone at (805) 235-7252.

 

Office Hours:

  7:00 a.m. -10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday - when class is in session

  8:00 a.m. -  9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday - when class is not in session

  8:00 a.m. -  4:00 p.m. Saturday

10:00 a.m. -  6:00 p.m. Sunday

 

North County Campus

  6:30 a.m. -11:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday - when class is in session

  6:30 a.m. -  6:00 p.m. Friday

  7:30 a.m. -  5:30 p.m. Saturday
