myCuesta CardCuesta College is partnering with Higher One to bring a new method for you to receive your refunds and financial aid. Any upcoming student account disbursements will come via Higher One.

We are making the switch to Higher One to offer you choices on how you prefer to receive your funds and to streamline our disbursement process.

A Higher One - My Cuesta Card will be sent to all students with detailed instructions on how to use the card to choose the method of disbursement.  It is important that you follow the instructions from Higher One to choose how you would like your student account disbursement sent to you (see below). 

Watch your mail for your "My Cuesta Card" in a bright green envelope. Please do not throw away your card as it will be your way to receive a more expedient delivery of funds.

Your "MyCuesta Card" has been designed to provide you with more options for receiving the student account funds that may be due to you.

After receiving the card, you will want to go online to activate your My Cuesta Card and select one of the following disbursement preferences:

1)    choose to have your student account funds deposited to a OneAccount, or

2)    choose to have your funds transferred to your personal checking/savings account, or

3)    choose to have a paper check sent to you.

Activate your card as soon as you receive it. Remember, even if you are not currently expecting a refund from Cuesta, you may be eligible to receive a payment or refund in the future.

New and returning students should be on the lookout as your MyCuesta Card will be mailed to your current mailing address on file with the college as of the date of your class enrollment.

It is critical that you verify your mailing address as soon as possible. Go to your myCuesta portal to update your mailing address.
