Playing in the rainIn spite of all your efforts and our efforts, your child will occasionally get sick, and may be sent home. If we suspect anything that could be contagious, you must have your child examined by a physician. Please have a back up childcare plan for illnesses.

Our licensing Administrative Code requires that children stay home at the onset of a possible contagious illness, rash, cough etc. We may require a note from your pediatrician letting us know that your child is no longer contagious. If your child is absent from illness for three or more days, we will ask for verification from a doctor that your child is no longer contagious.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Each day as you arrive, the teacher will give your child a brief health check. Your child may be sent home if she/he appears to have symptoms of illness. This could also occur during the day. In such cases, your child may be isolated from the others and a parent will be contacted. If we do not get a response from you within an hour, we will send the Campus Police Department to locate you in a class, and begin calling those on your emergency card whom you have given permission for pick up.
