International/F-1/Non-Immigrant Student Orientation & Web Registration Workshops are specially designed to provide you with the answers to your questions . They are required for ALL International/F-1/Non-Immigrant students enrolling at Cuesta College. They have been organized to help International/F-1/Non-Immigrant students with the transition into a new country, an unfamiliar school system, and the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) under the Department of Homeland Security regulations.

As you make preparations to begin your studies in the United States, you may have many questions such as:

  • When will you be able to meet other international students?
  • When will you learn what courses you should register for?
  • What are the US federal immigration regulations that govern my F1 status?

International Student Orientation & Web Registration Workshop provides essential information on:

  • US immigration regulations governing employment, travel and course load
  • registration procedures
  • academic success
  • health insurance
  • personal health and safety

Please note that all foreign transcripts (high schools or universities) must be evaluated through ACEI to meet Cuesta College courses that require a prerequisite.
