FERPA

Please make sure Cuesta has a FERPA code on file for you! A FERPA code works in place of a photo ID to allow Cuesta College to verify student identity over the phone or on-line. We do this in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) which protects your information as a student. By having a FERPA code, you are clarifying which college departments can discuss what types of information with you or other designated individuals when face-to-face isn’t possible. Please follow these steps to create your FERPA code within your myCuesta account.
