PASO ROBLES – Cuesta College invites the community to the Senior Wellness Fair, hosted by Cuesta College nursing students, at the Quail Run Estates Club House in Paso Robles on Friday, June 27. This free event offers vital health assessments and educational sessions to enhance the well-being of seniors in the North County area.

The Senior Wellness Fair aims to empower seniors with essential insights and strategies for healthy living. Attendees will have access to a range of health assessments, including blood pressure, pulse, vision acuity, memory testing, and evaluations of balance and flexibility. Informative sessions will cover topics such as exercise, osteoporosis prevention, recognizing signs and symptoms of strokes or heart attacks, healthy eating habits, and more.

“This marks the fourth wellness fair hosted by the Cuesta College LVN class for our community,” said Nancy Wages, Assistant Director of the LVN Program. “This event has always been fun for students and great engagement with the community.” 

The Senior Wellness Fair will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Quail Run Estates Club House at 1400 Quail Run Ave, Paso Robles, CA 93446.

Cuesta College’s accredited Nursing & Allied Health Program, established in 1967, offers degree and certificate programs in Registered Nursing, Licensed Vocational Nursing, Certified Nurse Assistant, Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy, Psychiatric Technician, Emergency Medical Services, and Paramedic. The recent launch of an accelerated track for the Registered Nursing Program further exemplifies Cuesta College’s commitment to providing a faster path to nursing education and entry into the workforce.
