* Completion of higher level college courses, i.e. BIO 205 (Human Anatomy), BIO 206 (Human Physiology),
ENGL 201A (English Composition), and a transfer level Math course, with a grade of "C" or better are accepted.

Course completion vs. Assessment:  Applicants to the LVN certificate program must either complete the above Math and English prereq courses (or higher level courses) with a grade of "C" or better; OR place into English 201A and a transfer level math course.

CNA Work Experience Incentive:  CNA work experience is not mandatory in order to be eligible to apply to the LVN program.  However, applicants who have worked a minimum of 500 hours in the past 2 years as a CNA and who meet the application requirements will be eligible to have their name entered an extra time in the computerized random draw.

ADDITIONAL LVN PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

 - Proof of completion of 12th grade education (or higher degree)
 - Current California CNA certificate (or verification of state certification)
