Introduction to Ancient Egypt
This course introduces students to the rich and complex civilization of ancient Egypt. Students will go in depth into the art, science, religion, architecture, mythology, language, government, and history of the culture of ancient Egypt. Taught by PhD candidate and founder of the research organization Kamat – Reconstructing Ancient Egyptian Culture, Patrick McCoy, M. A. has spent more than twenty years delving into the mysteries of ancient Egypt within an anthropological/archeological research approach.
Class will be offered in hybrid format with both in-person and virtual attendance options.
