Cuesta College Jazz Orchestra

The Cuesta College Jazz Orchestra is a performance organization that is composed of area professional musicians. The literature of this ensemble is to acquaint the musicians with a wide variety of jazz styles, jazz arrangers and guest soloists. The course will stress stylistic interpretation and cohesive ensemble playing. Selection of material will be from the contemporary idiom as well as material from the past. Participation in the group is by invitation and/or audition.
