Color, Composition, and Creativity
Start taking your photography to exciting new levels! In this fun and inspiring course, you'll learn to greatly enhance your picture-taking skills while fine-tuning your artistic eye. Topics: understanding color and contrast, experimenting with composition, working with lens perspective, showing motion, revealing depth, boosting creativity, appreciating the impact of light, etc. Classroom sessions involve critiques, assignments, discussions, and instructional slide shows, while a field trip puts it all into practice. Note: For upper beginner through advanced; a basic knowledge of shutter speed, F/stops and ISO is advisable. Emphasis is on shooting/camera techniques and natural light.
Saturday Field Session: March 9. From late afternoon through sunset, we’ll meet in the picturesque coastal village of Cayucos. Meeting place and time will be announced in class.
