Creative Close-up Photography

This 4-week interactive ONLINE course takes you on an exciting journey into the world of close-up photography. In fact, you will be amazed by just how many photogenic subjects you'll find at every turn, whether you zero in tight with a standard lens or with a specialized macro lens.
Topics: Developing your intimate vision, working with depth of field and focusing, understanding natural light and composition, etc.
How class works: We use Google Classroom. Each Monday for four weeks, a lesson (text and video) will be posted. Except for the final Week 4, lessons will also include an assignment. You can sign into the virtual classroom anytime to check out lessons, ask questions, post comments, and review the instructor's video critiques of assignment photos.
Recommended gear: digital camera with adjustable controls, and a lens (or lenses) that extends from wide-angle to telephoto. Although macro photography will be covered, a macro lens is NOT necessary for any assignment. A tripod is encouraged.
Note: For upper beginner through advanced; a basic knowledge of shutter speed, F/stops and ISO is advisable.
