Introduction to Tractor Operation and Appropriate Application
The class is a comprehensive introduction to tractor operation and safety. We cover basic concepts from tractor fundamentals to understanding appropriate working and field conditions. We will have the opportunity to use and discuss tractor drawn and mounted implements as well as calculate time and fuel to facilitate effective planning and estimating. Also, other topics will be discussed such as understanding the impacts of tractor operation, how to mitigate negative effects and how to maintain tractors for years of service.
