Printing and Publishing Comics
Get your comic stories published in an actual comic book magazine, to be read by thousands of readers! Learn how to publish your own book, comic, or web-comic. Learn of the technologies involved in publishing your own work and how to build an audience. Go through the whole process of planning, penciling, lettering, and inking on paper. The final part of coloring and editing their work would be done on the computer to give the comic a more professional look. Comic stories will be put together into an eBook (on a flash drive) to bring home. Comics will also be printed at a professional offset printer. Students would then receive a box of 30+ comic books (featuring comics made by the whole class), which would arrive sometime in September. Thousands of copies would also be distributed to schools and comic books stores for others to read. Visit www.dir.raytoons.net to see the Raytoons comic distribution list.
