Interactive Fiction

The Interactive Fiction class combines the pleasures of crafted story experiences with the pleasures of interactivity that is most evident in the in the popularity of video games. Students will explore how story is incorporated into contemporary game designs. They will have the opportunity to create their own interactive story with pictures, animations, and sounds. After students make your own interactive stories, they will bring them home with on a flash drive at the end of the class. They can get a copy of their classmates’ stories as well. The stories can then be played/read on computers or handheld devices.
