Play the Ukulele
The ukulele is a fun, easy, and accessible instrument for all skill levels. Instruments are provided and no experience necessary to jump in and start playing songs on day one! Beginning students will work on chord structure and more advanced students will work on adding solos and singing while playing. This class comes with a songbook and will explore some music theory along with the importance of technique when playing. The last day of class will include a performance which students aren’t required to play in, but will be encouraged to.

Shea Kelly |
I’ve been playing music my entire life. I do it because it’s fun and I love it. That’s what I bring to my students. |
David Chock |
David Chock is a locally established musician and audio engineer. David is a former Cuesta College music student- graduating in 2007. He then went to receive a B.A. in Music/Technology from CSU Chico in 2010. David can be spotted all around the county playing with a band or running live sound. He owns and operates a music studio in San Luis Obispo and also a live sound company based out of Los Osos. David says he still finds time to give private instruction, as it is one of his true passions to pass on knowledge and help cultivate a curious mind. David looks forward to meeting and teaching students of all backgrounds and skill levels. |
