Photography For Young Minds
This class is designed to introduce young students to the fundamentals of photography including using a camera, editing and the critique of art. Students will learn a camera’s basic functions and how to apply that creatively to make a one of a kind (their own) photograph. The class includes both digital and analog (film and darkroom) work while using team and individual based assignments. A working camera is encouraged (cell phones are okay). If a student has access to a Google Drive account or a USB drive, they are encouraged to bring them to class so they can bring their photographs home.
