Its written works offer a glimpse into what Japanese people in the past thought about the world around them. By studying Japan’s literary output, both ancient and modern, we can better understand the country as it exists today.

Introduction to Genetics with Kristina Evanko

Recipes include: Burger bites, nuggets, queso potachos, scones, apple cinnamon rolls and chocolate fudge! Each live Zoom class, we will: (1) Share announcements, (2) Watch a short video demonstrating the day’s recipe, and (3) Prepare the recipe into our kitchens together.

All course materials will be available for download, including weekly recipes, shopping list and videos. Recipes will include use of equipment, such as knives, electric appliances (e.g. blender), range and oven. Music Video from Start to Finish with Linda Wilson

Life in 79 AD: Herculaneum & Pompeii with Camille Franco

Life in these two well-known cities have been preserved for us to study thanks to the volcanic eruption that buried the cities. From their rediscoveries, we have learned about the culture and life in Ancient Rome, such as diets, entertainment, daily life, religion, etc. In this class, we will look at what life was like in Ancient Rome, how the destruction of these cities happened, and the archeology brought the cities back to life.
