Wild About Horses is an introduction to horses and why many people love them. Through presentations, videos, and virtual field trips explore horses through history, anatomy, breeds and colors as well as different horse sports.

INSTRUCTOR: Amanda Shere - "I have lifelong experience with horses. I am a horseback riding instructor with 14 years under my belt with an emphasis on teaching children. I achieved the highest level of horse management certification from the United States Pony Club. I have 5 years experience teaching energy science through my job at the Cuesta Sustainability Resource Center as the Sustainability Education Specialist. I am passionate about finding fun ways for students to engage in hands-on learning to better understand our world.” |
