July 2: Email from Academic Affairs
Fall 2020 Update
Dear Cuesta College Student,
The continued spread of coronavirus prevents a full return to campus for the fall 2020 semester. To maintain the safety and well-being of our campus community, fall courses will delivered as described below:
- Lecture classes will be fully online. Some lecture classes will require online participation on specified days and times noted in Class Finder.
- Many lab, activity, and performance courses will be fully online.
- Difficult-to-convert labs, activity, and performance courses will include face-to-face instruction on campus with modifications to support safety and strict hygiene protocols. (See sample list below.)
- Please note, not all of the changes are currently reflected in the class schedule. The class schedule update will continue through July 17, 2020.
What does this mean?
If you are enrolled in a lecture class scheduled to be on campus in the fall, the class section is now fully online. If you are enrolled in a lab, activity, or performance class it may still have a campus component or be fully online. Details will be visible in Class Finder and your class schedule after July 17, 2020.
What do I need to do?
No action is required. If you wish to make changes to your class schedule, including adding classes, it is recommended that you wait until the schedule update is complete on July 17, 2020. This will ensure that you have the most current information regarding course options.
