Cuesta College's 2018 Student Art Exhibition will be juried by professional artist and Cal Poly Gallery Coordinator Garet Zook. Every year, our student show features categories such as Ceramics, Graphic Design/ Digital Art, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture.
The 2018 Student Show is generously sponsored by Jim Sargen.
Awards are made possible by the Helen Novy Art Fund and your entry fees.
Opening Reception: Thursday April 19th 4:30pm-7:30pm
Awards are presented at 5:30pm
This year, in conjunction with the Student show opening, we are hosting a Fine Arts Open House. The Fine Arts Open House is an opportunity for you to see art classes in action, visit our beautiful facilities, see work that our students and faculty are creating and even get your hands dirty trying out some projects of your own. Check out our State-of-the-Art Digital Labs in Photography and Graphic Design, Black and White Photo Darkroom, Sculpture Foundry, and Studios for Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics and Sculpture. We will be offering tours of the department as well as workshops and demonstrations in a variety of mediums. Be sure to reserve a space in one of the free workshops by REGISTERING, as space is limited in the workshops and we want to have enough supplies on hand - but sign up for as many as you'd like!
