Brown Bag Conversation: Being Latinx in the Teaching Profession: A Conversation with Ivan Antonio
Are you a Latinx student at Cuesta College interested in pursuing a career in Teaching?  

Join us for a discussion with Credential Student Ivan Antonio, who is local to the Central Coast
and completing his master's degree with a Teaching Credential in History from the University of
Southern California. Together we will discuss what representation means in the classroom and
how that impacts the learning experiences of our Latinx students in the K-12 education system.

author of 19 books, and educator. Rudy will speak for the first hour of the event. Attendees

Chancellor’s Office Kick-off Event for Undocumented Student Action Week  
The California Community College System and its partners will introduce this year’s USAW activities,
discuss the 2020 theme, and explain our advocacy actions. This webinar will set the tone for the week
and encourage all to participate.

Join Cuesta College Monarch Dream Center for their second annual Undocumented and Unafraid Panel in recognition of National Undocumented Student Week of Action

It will include Three Cuesta Dreamers/DACA/Mixed status students and Two Cal Poly Students sharing their educational journeys, struggles and successes as undocumented students.
This event will be open for Faculty, students, Staff, Administrators and the community.
