I've had one year experience working as a Senator for ASCC and participated as a non-voting member of the Academic Senate. I would like to continue to serve our college community for the Fall semester until I transfer to university. I don't really have any specific goals for the senate.
I am a current senator for ASCC. I bring good listening skills to this position, an
open mind, and good communication skills. I have experience in the voting process
and I have experience on multiple committees.
My specific goals are to continue to maintain my GPA, graduate with my AA degree in Addiction Studies. My goals are to also transfer to a four year, and receive my Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences. What I would strive to implement are any programs that would benefit and ensure student success.
Cassidy Negri - Special Senator: Legislative Director
I am a passionate and devoted student who wants to aid her school in any way. I have
good leadership and group skills along with an uplifting, fun personality. I am excited
to be involved with Cuesta and hopefully with its government too. :)
I am excited to help Cuesta get back to in-person classes after being in lockdown for so long. There will be new protocols and rules that will make it difficult to get back to normal. I know how badly we all want to get back into the classroom and be in person again, but together we can keep the campus safe and support the changes ahead. I can't wait to represent that in my role as a senator in Cuesta’s Government. :)
Tuesday, April 20 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm
