Why should I attend Cougar Welcome Days?
Cougar Welcome Days helps new students have a successful transition to college through introducing them to helpful college services and resources. During Cougar Welcome Days, incoming students can expect to meet counselors, staff, student leaders, and future classmates. Cougar Welcome Days focus on class scheduling, financial aid, and student services.
What should I bring?
Bring a government issued photo ID card (Driver's License, Passport) or high school ID card. If applicable please bring your Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
Who can attend?
Students and their supporters (parents, guardians, friends) are welcome to attend.
What time should I arrive?
Check-in times are 30 minutes before your scheduled start time.

San Luis Obispo Campus Parking Lot 3, 2A & 2
North County Campus Parking Lot 11
Do I have to pay for parking?
No, parking is free. Park in specified lots listed above.
Are meals provided during Cougar Welcome Days?
No, but meal purchasing options will be available the day of event.
Is Cougar Welcome Days mandatory to attend?
No, it is not mandatory; however, new students are strongly encouraged to attend because all attendees are given priority registration for the day.
