2022-2025 Student Equity Plan
Under the direction of the California Community College Chancellor's Student Equity and Achievement Program, Cuesta College developed an integrated Student Equity Plan for the college. The plan focuses on specifically eliminating equity gaps in relation to access to the college, course completion, certificate and degree completion, and transfer readiness.
Focus Populations
Cuesta College's equity gaps were identified by using the formula provided by the California Community College Chancellor's Office. Cuesta College's current focus populations are:
- Black/African American Students
- Current or Former Foster Youth Students
- Female Students
- First-Generation College Students
- Latinx/Hispanic Students
Support Programs
Academic Affairs and Student Services work in partnership to increase student equity through comprehensive support services.
