bree valle
Artistic Director of Drama Program, Actor, Director, and Teacher
bree valle studied at University of Alberta, Simon Fraser University, and Lakehead
University. She holds an MFA in Contemporary Performance (Solo Performance, Acting,
and Directing) from Arizona State University where she studied directing from five-time
Tony nominated Marshall W. Mason. She studied acting with Scott Swan, the founding
Artistic Director of Suomac Studios in Vancouver and voice with Richard Armstrong
of the Roy Hart Institute in France and David Smuckler at York University. She was
the founding Artistic Director of Oceanquest Studios in Phoenix and the Artistic Director
of the Canadian comedy improvisation troupe Who Cares. She is the co-artistic director
and co-founder of Blu Canyon Studios. bree valle has acted and directed locally, nationally,
and abroad.

Richard Jackson
Stagecraft and Technical Theatre
Richard Jackson received his BFA in Theater Arts from Sam Houston State University
in Huntsville, Texas, and his MA from California Polytechnic State University. Before
he began teaching at Cuesta College, he worked as a set and lighting designer for
The Huntsville Enrichment of the Arts Program in Huntsville, Texas; The Salt City
Center for the Performing Arts in Syracuse, N.Y.; and The Tahlequah Outdoor Drama
in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He had also freelanced as a designer and technical director
for various theater companies in Las Vegas including Clark County Community College,
New West Stage Company, Las Vegas Little Theater, Betty Sullivan Cleary Productions,
Jim Carey Productions, and the City of Las Vegas Arts Programs. When Richard is not
teaching and working at Cuesta College, he freelances as an art director and editor
in the video and film production field.
