Unlock the complexities of the serger sewing machine, also known as an overlock machine. Learn to thread for 3 and 4 thread configurations, how to change needles, when to use the differential (if your machine has one), and explore sewing on woven and knit fabrics. Bring to class your serger machine, power cord, foot pedal, and accessories. Everything else needed for class is provided by the instructor.

Hello, I'm Rebecca, most of my free time as a child was spent sewing clothes for myself and others. I challenged myself with new fabrics and techniques, eventually altering patterns to better fit my body. Working in the field of alterations and dressmaking has taught me much and after discovering the joys of teaching in 1998, it would be my pleasure to teach you to make lovely things with needle and thread. |
