What Can You Do During College Hour? 

Connect with counseling, financial aid, tutoring, transfer support, admissions, and other student services during a dedicated hour built into the class schedule. 

Attend campus events, join student club meetings, hear guest speakers, participate in Cougar Social Hour activities, and explore new opportunities. 

Take part in workshops on study skills, career planning, transfer preparation, leadership, wellness, and academic success. 

Enjoy lunch with classmates, spend time with friends, get outside, take a walk, or simply use the hour in the way that supports you best.

College Hour helps make campus life easier to access and more connected. It creates consistent time for students to: 

  • Access support services  
  • Connect with faculty, staff, and peers  
  • Build community and belonging  
  • Participate in campus life  
  • Explore programs, resources, and opportunities  
  • Balance academics, involvement, and well-being

Cuesta Employees
To submit a College Hour event Cuesta employees will need to login to the 25Live system and follow the normal steps for completing a request for a college event. 
Event requests should include the event title, date, time, location, description, and sponsoring department. All approved college events taking place during College Hour, Tuesdays or Thursdays at 12:20 - 1:20, will be added to College Hour event listing.
