• Learn How to Be a Successful Student

  • Use Campus Resources to Help You Succeed

  • If you are struggling in a course, reach out to a counselor for help. Discuss support services available and the option of withdrawing from a course (and any potential positive/negative implications).

  • Review campus policies for Academic Renewal (which can alleviate up to two semesters of substandard grades if they were at least one year prior and a certain number of units and GPA was attained since then) and Course Repetition. Both can have a positive impact on your GPA. Meet with a Counselor for more information.

  • Balance out your time. Make sure to give yourself enough study time to be successful in your classes. Adjust your load if needed. Manage your stress with good self-care.

  • Remember that your effort now can impact your future!
