The Cuesta College scholarship application opens EARLY this year on Tuesday, October 1, 2018. Students can apply for scholarships for the 2019-2020 academic year beginning October 1, 2018 through March 2, 2019.

Outside Scholarship Opportunities

Cuesta posts local scholarship opportunities intended for community college students!

  • The Real Estate Scholarship application period is September 1 through April 30 but scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.   • Department of Transportation Disbaility Advisory Committee Scholarship Application - Deadline November 16, 2018. Apply here!
  • This year there will be two scholarships awarded ($250 each), and each recipient will receive a scholarship certificate. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

    ·        A college student who has a disability defined by the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) as having a mental or physical impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities.

    ·        A college student residing in California at the time of applying for scholarship.

    ·        Currently enrolled in a minimum of six units in a college or university.

  • 2018 My Story Essay Contest: Win up to $2,000 with CashCourse! 

    It happens-- everyone makes mistakes with money. Tell CashCourse about the lessons you learned from one of your financial mishaps and you could win $2,000 for college, courtesy of the National Endowment for Financial Education!

    Essay prompt: Describe a financial mistake or stumble you have had. What did you learn from it? How has it shaped your approach to your money today? Please limit essay to 750 words.

    o   4 prizes of $250
