Does someone you care about smoke?
"It can be hard for them to quit smoking"
Some tips:
- Relevance: Don’t judge, instead find a reason. Why quitting is important to them?
- Motivation: Talk about all the health, economic, environmental benefits when quitting smoking.
- Awareness: Talk about the risks, negative consequences and impact to their body and the environment.
- Support: Be ready to provide information, strategies to quit and resources to help others.
