Rather than discuss the theory of picture books, attendees will receive feedback from Henry Herz, an editor and published author, and their peers. To take full advantage of this force-multiplying effect, attendees will send their picture book manuscript (no art needed) in advance to the instructor and bring 20 printed copies to share. Considering each manuscript, the instructor will guide a gentle conversation about how to strengthen it. Students will leave with practical suggestions for advancing their manuscripts.
