Steps for the Cuesta Promise

✓	Submit your Cuesta College Fall 2025 admissions application	October 1, 2024 - August 1, 2025
✓	Submit your scholarship application (Apply by priority deadline, April 2nd, 2025, to be considered for additional scholarships)	October 14, 2024 - August 1, 2025
✓	Complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA or the Dream Act	December 2024 - August 1, 2025
✓	Complete the Cuesta College online orientation	October 1, 2024 - August 1, 2025
✓	Check your residency classification with Admissions and Registration (The Cuesta Promise will pay fees for students that are a California Resident or AB540 student)	October 1, 2024 - August 1, 2025
✓	Register for your classes	May 2025 - August 1, 2025
✓	*Complete these steps and the Promise is yours for the first year!* Check your email for announcements and updates.**
✓	To earn a second fee-free year* *You must complete more than 50% of units attempted and* *earn a GPA of 2.00* or higher during your first year on the Promise, and complete a FAFSA or Dream Act application for 2026–2027 by August 1st, 2026 *Met the academic requirements?
