Experience a fun and flavorful journey through cooking and creativity. This series combines hands-on culinary lessons with relaxing themed coloring activities. Learn to make salsa, guacamole, tortillas, flatbread pizza, salads, pasta, simple sauces, truffles, and fried bread desserts. Each class includes a demo, ingredient table, cultural history, and a custom coloring project. Participants leave every session with new skills, delicious food, and a take-home recipe coloring book.

Week 1: Salsa, Guacamole & Tortillas 

Learn the basics of making fresh salsa, guacamole, and tortillas while exploring the history and flavors behind these classics. Enjoy a live demo, hands-on cooking, and a fun themed coloring activity that promotes creativity and wellness. Take home a recipe-and-coloring book—and end the class by enjoying your delicious creations!

Week 2: Flatbread Pizza and Salad

Explore the basics of creating fresh flatbread pizza and salad while learning simple knife skills and the traditions behind these dishes. Enjoy a live demo, hands-on cooking, and a relaxing themed coloring activity. Finish with a take-home recipe coloring book, photo time, and of course—let’s eat!

Week 3: Pasta and Simple Sauces

Discover the world of pasta by learning different pasta types, flavor profiles, and the basics of making simple sauces. Enjoy a cooking demo, hands-on practice, and a creative coloring activity with your choice of art medium. Wrap up with a themed pasta coloring booklet, photo time, and a delicious meal you made yourself!

Week 4: Truffles and Fried Bread Dessert

Indulge your creative side while learning the basics of crafting delicious truffles and a sweet fried bread dessert. Enjoy a chocolate tasting, live demo, hands-on dessert making, and a themed coloring activity. Wrap up with a take-home dessert coloring recipe book, photo time, and a tasty treat!

Dominique Kramer

Dominique Kramer has been in the food industry for 20 years + with training from Johnson and Wales University for Culinary Arts and Bachelors in Food Service Management. Chef Dom has been a chef at the Winter Olympics in Utah in 2002, at Microsoft in Silicone Valley, working for School food industry and catering.
