Cougar Social Hour takes place during College Hour—held campus-wide from 12:30–1:30 PM on Tuesdays at the North County Campus and Thursdays at the SLO campus—when students are encouraged to connect with student services and campus partners. Student Life & Leadership expands this time into a full Cougar Social Hour experience from 12:00–2:00 PM (Tuesdays at SLO and Thursdays at NCC), offering engaging activities that help students build community, connect across campuses, and take time to recharge between classes.
On the alternate campus where Cougar Social Hour is not taking place, Student Life and ASCC still hosts College Hour activities from 12:30–1:30 PM, providing opportunities for students to stay engaged, connect with peers, and take part in meaningful community-building experiences.
