Combine photography with your own creativity to produce a personal (and) collaborative DIY magazine. We’ll focus on the essentials of making strong images: composition, working with your cameras, learning to see light, and still life. If you enjoy writing or doodling, you’ll have plenty of room to include interviews, short pieces, sketches, and more alongside your photographs. We’ll use a photojournalistic approach throughout the course: asking questions, conducting interviews, documenting moments and sharing ideas with intention. This class is meant to be a supportive, respectful space where you can be yourself, explore what matters to you, and create work that helps your voice be seen and heard.
