In this class you will learn to layer and secure the top you pieced in the first class with the batting and backing fabric, mark stitching lines, and sew the three layers together.   This is the second of 3 classes that encompass the full quilt making process, register for the next class to learn how to cut and apply bias binding.

You will receive a supply list once you’ve registered for class.  In addition to the quilt supplies, bring to class your sewing machine with power cord and foot pedal, or borrow a machine from Community Programs.  Contact the instructor with questions about this class.

Meet the instructor

Rebecca Prange

Hello, I’m Rebecca, I started making my own clothes when I was about 9 years old. Using my mothers sewing space I challenged myself with new fabrics and techniques and soon began altering patterns to better fit my body. I discovered the joys of teaching in 1998, and it would be my pleasure to teach you to make lovely things with needle and thread.
